This once unknown location has grown into becoming a top tourist spot in Albay! It is now a nature park, a pilgrimage site, and a sanctuary all in one. The Kawa-Kawa Hill is a 25-hectare area located in Tuburan, Ligao. It is called Kawa-Kawa because it looks like a cauldron which is “Kawa” in Bicolano.
The trek to the top has the 14 stations of the cross, to which Catholics frequently visit. Aside from being a pilgrimage site, the administration of Kawa-Kawa are building up their recreational activities. As for now they have cottages available for use, ATVs, and horseback riding!
